[HANTTE : 한때]
Keep the good days
on the map.
The path you walked today stays on the map as a single line, and every photo you took along the way rests quietly where you took it. Gather the days of a trip together, and open them again whenever they come back to you.

- 한때 noun · han-ttae
- Korean for “a time, once” — a stretch of days you look back on.
- “We had a lovely time.”
Scroll slowly, and a path draws itself as you go. This page is a sample moment, too.
The way you came
stays with you
No need to keep the app open. Just carry your iPhone, and today’s path keeps unrolling on the map, while each photo settles where you took it.
When a thought comes to you, leave it as a few words — one emoji and a short line are all it takes.
- SolidYou went this way
- DashedYou passed near here
- DottedEven Hantte doesn’t know
Where the record breaks off, Hantte doesn’t invent a neat road to fill the gap. What it doesn’t know, it draws as unknown.
A sample screen. The app itself draws on Apple Maps.
All your days,
on a single page
Leaf through them day by day, the way you would in Photos — then pinch. The pictures grow smaller and smaller, until a whole year fits on one page.
Pick the days that stayed with you and gather them into a moment, right there.
Walk your travels
once more
On the days you went far, or took more photos than usual, Hantte gently asks, Shall we keep these days as a moment?
Only when you tap Keep does it become one. Nothing is made without you.
Meet your moments again in Replay. Follow that day’s path, and at every place you stopped, the photos you took there drift up one by one.
Not a recording — it really moves, right here on this page. Press play or drag the bar. Photos and place names are examples.
Stand it up,
and it becomes a frame
Hantte turns the photos of a moment slowly, one at a time. Beside each one floats a tiny map of where it was taken, the time, and the few words you left there.
The screen stays awake while it plays. Rest your iPhone on its charger and let it linger.
On Sunday evening,
look back on your week
How far you walked this week, where you stopped, where you lingered longest — told alongside a handful of the photos you took. Hantte also brings back pictures from this same time, years ago.
Only if you’d like it: a single notification, Sunday at 9 in the evening.

At home and at work,
it rests
Save the places you spend your days as My Places, and while you’re inside them, Hantte stops measuring where you are. It rests for most of the day, so your battery lasts. Step out the door, and the path picks up again.
On days you want every turn recorded — like a trip — switch on Travel Log. It turns itself off at midnight, and stops on its own if your battery runs low. Turning it on is always up to you.
Where you’ve been
is yours alone.
Your records stay only on your iPhone and in your iCloud. Hantte has no server, so even the person who made it has no way to look.
No account, no sign-in, no ads. No analytics, either.

We’re in the last round of checks before launch. Hantte will run on iPhone with iOS 26 or later; iPad and Mac will follow after that.
Questions
Won’t it drain my battery?
Inside the My Places you’ve saved, such as home or work, Hantte doesn’t measure your location at all. Out and about, it normally records only larger movements, using a low-power method.
Travel Log, which records your path in fine detail, runs only when you switch it on, and turns off at midnight.
Why does location need to be set to Always
?
It lets Hantte keep tracing your path while the app is closed. You can still use it with While Using the App
, but then only the path from while the app was open will be kept.
Can anyone else see where I’ve been?
No. Your records are stored only on your iPhone and in your iCloud, and are never sent to anyone, including the developer. They leave your device only when you make and share a poster yourself — and even then, the roads near home and work are hidden.
Do I need to upload or move my photos?
No. Hantte reads the photos already in Photos and shows them as they are. It doesn’t make copies, and it doesn’t change your photos unless you choose to add a location or delete one.
Can I see days from before I installed it?
Your photos, yes. Photos with a location are placed where they were taken, and you can gather them into moments from past trips. Your path is recorded from the day you start using Hantte.
